Discover the city of Granada and the impressive Alhambra Palaces

We will pick you up from your hotel or cruise ship and together we will make our way to Granada to discover the famous Alhambra Palaces - a World Heritage UNESCO Site and the second most visited site in Europe!

Granada Architecture We will explore magnificent halls and intimate courtyards decorated by rows of elegant arches, peacefully bubbling fountains and splendidly carved decorations. We will see the Palace of Charles the 5th, an outstanding example of Spanish Renaissance architecture, and the 9th century Alcazaba fortress with its Torre de la Vela tower that offers spectacular views of Granada. Please note entry is 18 Euros per person (extra) and bookings in advance is a MUST.

Next its on to the Generalife, a royal place of leisure and recreation with beautiful exotic gardens, stunning water features and lingering aroma of jasmine. In the afternoon you can enjoy a guided walking tour of the historical city centre of Granada with its enormous Moorish, Christian and Jewish cultural heritage. A walk through the medieval Moorish Albaicín neighbourhood leads to the River Darro with great views of the Alhambra across the banks and a maze of tiny streets filled with little Arab shops, restaurants and tea houses. This is a wonderful day tour - perfect for those visiting on a short schedule.
